A clear question describes what happens, when it happens and what changed beforehand. State the exact reference if known and whether the symptom is continuous or intermittent. Avoid repeated operation if it appears to worsen the issue.

The most useful follow-up is a short, dated symptom log. It helps separate a reproducible observation from an explanation somebody has suggested online.

Ask the watchmaker to identify the fault and explain the proposed work and quote. A forum discussion should not invent a diagnosis or prescribe an internal adjustment from a photograph.

A useful next contribution would supply the precise reference and the source of each measurement or dated statement. Keep undocumented points open; this example does not invent evidence to close the question.
