Which views would make a movement question answerable? Record the stated calibre, the watch reference, the visible markings and the source of each photograph. Do not open a watch merely to supply a forum picture; use documentation already available or ask a qualified watchmaker.

How should a disputed identification be recorded?

A rotor inscription is a lead rather than a complete identification. I would label the photograph and leave unseen features as unknown instead of filling them from a similar movement.

Keep the proposed identification separate from the evidence supporting it. When no exact technical document is available, an unresolved identification is a useful result.
