Different numerals have different optical centres. A comparison mixes two dates and unequal magnification. How can the evidence be improved?

Record format: question; proposed response; source or method; limitation. Use a dated correction only if the underlying wording or evidence changes. Record RWI-20248.

Use the same numeral, camera axis and approximate image scale. Keep the uncropped originals alongside the detail crops and distinguish optical balance from physical window alignment.
