What information would help another member answer a first question? Give a short subject, explain what has already been checked and add the relevant reference or measurement if it is known.

One focused question is easier to answer than a long list of unrelated requests. I would add captions to photographs and keep private details out of public attachments.

Explain which evidence resolved the question and what remains uncertain. Mark a correction clearly rather than silently changing the original question after replies arrive.
